Amazon Promotion!

It's been a year and a half since I joined Amazon.com as a support engineer. The road has been a bit bumpy but hard work and persistence has paid off. This month I was promoted from Support Engineer III to Software Developer Engineer I! Amazon's work environment has been very face paced and dynamic which is challenging to keep up with sometimes but in my opinion is very rewarding. Red tape is discouraged as Amazon has a "just do it" type of attitude. Things get done and the focus is on our customers. The amazon data warehouse is currently extracting transforming and loading 80+ terabytes of data (retention) and is projecting to load more each year.



Also, just this september was my nephew Aiden's first birthday. Happy birthday little guy!
