The 85 duo

Congratulations Nate and Kimmy June 2008, these two 85'ers have learned in life that discipline , persistence and hard work do pay off!

MY "Bother in Law", The Firefighter - When I first met Nate 8 years ago, I asked him what his favorite school subject was and what he wanted to do when he got older. He told me in his dry monotone Nathan voice, "Nothing, Football". Since then, this young man has morphed that "Nothing, Football" into a Math BS at UW and a new Career as a Firefigher. His new squad calls him Meatball but make no mistake this lean young man is working hard as he is finishing up his training as one of the newest Gig Harbor fire fighters!

MY COUSIN, The Doctor - Boy, times have changed, I remember when this little girl would pick off the microscopic green peppers on her Jenos pizzas. Now, a hard working determined young lady has emerged a UW Graduate in Honors Biochemistry and Neurobiology. Furthermore, she has been accepted to the UW school of Medicine. According to the US News and World report a 2008 report has UW Med School ranked #1 in the nation for Medical Graduate programs!
